Setting up a CraftBukkit Minecraft Server on CentOS

Linux

1. Download CraftBukkit's latest build: CraftBukkit - Recommended Build
2. Put the .jar in a folder, for this example we'll use a generic one: ~/craftbukkit
3. Move to the above directory in terminal with 'cd ~/craftbukkit'
4. Create a new file in the minecraft folder and name it craftbukkit.sh
5. Edit the file and paste this into it:

Windows Server 2008 NFS client commands

Mount command:

mount -o{options} \\{ComputerName}\{Share name} <drive letter:>

options: -o rsize=n -o wsize=n -o mtype={soft|hard} -o anon -o nolock -o casesensitive -o fileaccess=mode

Unmount command:

umount <drive letter:>


Showmount command:

showmount -e {Server\computer Name}


VMWare Workstation/Server VM to VirtualBox VM Conversion

VirtualBox is a family of powerful x86 virtualization products for enterprise as well as home use. Not only is VirtualBox an extremely feature rich, high performance product for enterprise customers, it is also the only professional solution that is freely available as Open Source Software under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL).

VirtualBox is a virtual emulator like VMWare workstation. It has many of the features VMWare has, as well as some of its own.

Windows 2008 802.11x Wireless Setup/Configuration

I've recently migrated my wireless network from RADIUS/IAS on Windows 2003 with PKI to Windows 2008 R2. It took me a while to get to the bottom of it so I thought I'd write a How-To to help others out.

Requirements:

# One or more 802.1X-capable 802.11 wireless access points (APs).

# Active Directory with group policy

# One or more Network Policy Server (NPS) servers.

# Active Directory Certificate Services based PKI for Server certificates for NPS computer/s and your wireless PC's

Fix for Windows Server 2003 Setup No OEM Drivers

Fix for Windows Server 2003 Setup error: “Setup could not find a floppy drive on your machine to load OEM driver from floppy disk”

Windows Server 2003 R2 32-bit setup error when specifying additional storage drivers:

“Setup could not find a floppy drive on your machine to load OEM driver from floppy disk

Press ESC to Cancel loading OEM Drivers
Press F3 to quit setup”

This error occured when trying to install Windows Server 2003 R2 onto a Dell PowerEdge 830 server with a Dell CERC SATA 1.5/6ch RAID controller card.
